Congrats to the Marshals on a big win !! Also, congrats to Team Kelley ( yes - a 15 yr. old team ) and the Mustangs - Sharp for playing great ball all week long. This tournament was very demanding with the 2 teams in the finals having to play 5 games in 2 days - finishing games at 1:15 AM on Sunday morning and coming back 9 hours later to play a semi-final matchup and then right into the championship 45 minutes after that !! Great setting though - Olsen Field @ A & M was impressive !!

With rain earlier in the tournament, it created a tough situation for all. The Mustangs-Sharp actually didn't finish their third game Saturday until 2:45 Sunday morning and most players were not in bed until after 3:30 AM. The team had to play the next morning at 11:15, but the Marshals had a better team this weekend and deserved the Championship.
Nice job guys!
Congratulations Marshals. They should have beaten the Mustangs last year to get to the MMWS U15, glad to see it finally happened. Maybe it was better coaching or better pitching

The Marshals got it done by playing all phases of the game well, they are a good team and certainly a deserving champion.
