We have a couple, but they are age eligible. Had Badarack, Crump, Moore and Okert all on our team last year as 17u seniors. They all returned this season

Dallas Patriots 17 (Stout) went to Fayetteville, AR this weekend and participated in an 18U showcase event. They took care of business going 4-0 for the weekend with the following game results:

Watched these boys play in Abilene a little this weekend and they are the real deal. Pitching is excellent and lineup does no have a weak spot. I thought I already realized this a couple of weeks ago when they swept a DH from us, but they have improved mightily since then.
Well coached and they play the game the right way...nice to see!

To answer ags question earlier...the DP 17s have been about 50/50 wood/metal up to this point. From this point on I think most if not everything is wood.

He is an outstanding coach and his kids play the game right. Even though they are 16u they are very good. Each team came off deep tournament runs and have big qualifiers Thursday so the games were very vanilla. Nothing more than a few extra at-bats for the hitters and glorified bullpens for some pitchers.

21 games into the season and DBat Hinojosa is 19-1-1. Very good pure 17U team playing 18U ball. They are 9-0-1 in tournament play and 10-1 in league play in the 18U upper division in the Lonestar league.

Last game, believe it or not, was not as close as the score makes it sound (lol). I have said it before, but Flo's FR team is very good and they play the game with a lot of class. There is no softball chanting (can't believe some teams still do this) and no trash talk at all. Just clean fun baseball...They have a fan here and I wish them all the best.

Nope this was on the 6th. It was differently Florence. Spencer/Salazar is in Premier and they only play Premier teams and Florence's team is the only one of the Frozen Ropes teams in premier.
Salazar beat us twice. We left for New York after the double header. Simple as that.
