Thanks for posting that KD Change son called while everyone was in Phoenix mad about something very minor. I sent him back a text message that said 12 soldiers were killed today fighting for you to be able to do what you are doing today and that is enjoying playing a game of baseball. He repleyed back with a simple thank you and his attitude has been better every since. Some great sacrifices those kids are making over there for us.
American History teacher here, and that song caused some watering eyes. My son is 12, and has already told his mom and me that when he graduates he is joining the military. Maybe he will change his mind before then, who knows, but that reminds me that I need to love him and his brother as much as I can while I can. Thank you for the reminder....
