Can you elaborate please? What do you mean by "Senior Legion?"

American Legion Baseball Age Bracket

Thanks but I've heard this will change in 2015 and exclude the 19u age bracket.

As far as PG events go it doesn't matter what age they are. They go by graduating class. A 2012 is a 2012 regardless if he is 17 or 19 and is eligible to play.

This should've been done a long time ago. Legion ball should be for HS players. In part, this is why American Legion is going downhill in some areas. College age players who should be playing in summer college leagues are forcing some HS players to go elsewhere. This in part probably what started HS summer travel teams and HS coaches leagues.

I would guess Legion never meant to accommodate college freshman. I would imagine it was for kids that had to repeat a year of school or for the states (i.e. CA & OK) that have transitional kindergarten, which makes kids closer to 19 at graduation. I've heard transitional kindergarten is being dropped by many states due to funding.
