There is a new co-op in west central illinois
class A baseball Nauvoo Has co-oped with warsaw
and actually has the same coach as last year that produced the schools first winning record.
With the addition of the Warsaw players could make some real noise.
DANNY WELLS whats up man, how is things? you playin with EXPRESS again or what?
I think probably the best opening day game this season is OPRF's doubleheader against Evanston. Although Evanston didn't do so well during the Summer, they did make it to the Super Sectionals in the Spring and they only lost two seniors who started. It will be interesting to see the DH on the 20th.
In the South, at least in the Metro East Area of St. Louis, Edwardsville, Belleville East, Civic Memorial will all be strong. Also, some small school around Troy, Il should contend. Matoon is a great program and Marc Jackley is a very good coach on that side of the state. I really don't know about the South Seven Conference other than Althoff. Althoff is always stacked. It will be interesting this year down here. When you boyz are making up the list, I wouldn't leave out some southern teams. I can remember coaching a team once and when we got to Geneva, everyone was saying that we didn't play anyone because we were from the South. That team went 40-0. In other words the teams listed here can play. Well, the one team has to overcome their coach but the rest can really play.
