I am proud to announce that my very good friend Rusty Hill has been named the 2006 AABC Coach of the Year.

Rusty has coached the Lake Highlands Wildcats for a number of years and is a vital member of not only the Dallas baseball community but BBI, serving as President and now as a Trustee of the league. Rusty's Wildcats have advanced to the AABC Connie Mack World Series each of the last two years and he will be traveling to the AABC National Meeting in Puerto Rico to receive his award on November 3rd. There's not a more worthy individual IMO.

Congratulations to Rusty for this prestigious honor!

I feel honored to have coached against Rusty Hill in years past.

As those who know him understand that Rusty stands for what is right for amatuer baseball today.

Rusty's program, and the players involved, should be extremely proud of any achievements obtained.

Congratulations Rusty......a true class act.
