Congratulations to the District 9-4A players that made the DFW All AREA TEAM. McKinney North's Ty Crump (Sr.) and McKinney's Matt Lipka (Jr.)for First Team. McKinney North Justin Scharf (Sr.)for making Second Team.
And a tip of the cap is also in order to Funnel Drill. The picture in the paper didn't do him much justice though.
Hard to believe that the junior shortstop from South Grand Prairie who led the area (5A) in RBIs and had 6 HRs doesnt even get second team.
