There's typically a World Series Qualifier put on in June that allows a team to bypass the AABC State and Regional tournaments and go straight to the World Series.

old school your post is confusing. OP said WS starts 8/3 and you say DBat McCabe not playing cuz they already qualified.

I think think one poster stated that McCabe won the regional qualifier, therefore allowing them to bypass the state tournament.
One thing I know is that DBAT McCabe is not in the MMWS.
From what I hear about the teams, this should really be a good world series. I hope I get to watch some.

DBAT Phillips won State Tournament this past weekend winning over the Dallas Tigers Ingram in a two game match up.
DBAT Phillips is the only DBAT team playing in the Mickey.
Word is they have some strong arms and big bats - should be pretty competitive again this year- would be nice for Phillips group to have a 2peat- gotta alot of returning roster players he had last year.. should be strong

Sorry but the details are incorrect here. Dbat Phillips won the REGIONAL over Tigers Ingram to qualify for the MMWS. Dbat Mcabe won State, which qualified them for the Regional.

Where is dbat McCabe playing? I thought they would be in this tournament to settle the score with dbat Phillips.
I have no idea what DBAT McCabe is doing, but they did not qualify for the world series because they did not win the regional tournament.
In AABC you have to win the tournaments to advance to the World Series.

By the way, a nice comeback win for DBAT last night after giving up a 4 spot in the top of 1.
