2011 Cincinnati Reds Area Code Tryout Dates

Hey there Bud! I'm thinkin it will be held in July. They should be coming out with the time soon.Good luck to our Jr's. Slow start but early in the season still and coaches are trying diff. things early. Your school of course will do fine. Ours on the other hand needs a prayer. So many new kids and coach trying to figure them out. If we can keep the errors down to 5 or less a game( ouch) we may have a chance to win some! One? Grrrrrrrr But it's baseball and ya gotta love it win or lose!! TC

If I were a betting man I would say Saturday June 11 will be the Phoenix area date. This is based on the last 2 years dates so take with a grain of salt.

Last year the Jr. Sunbelt was in conflict with Area Code tryouts. Most of the top AZ players went to OK, but still made the area code team. So apparently there are other forces at work.

My Jr, if invited to the Jr. Sunbelt, will defintely be there. It's a great week and there simply aren't as many opportunities to noodle in AZ as there are in OK.
