Spring ball is just around the corner and the excitement is beginning to mount for many a player and parent (myself included!) This year will mark my son's first college season of baseball. He has worked so very hard over the years to get to this juncture in his life. Me an Mom are just so very proud of all he has accomplished to reach this moment. Gosh, does it get any better than this?

I know junior won't see a lot innings this year on the hill as a freshman pitcher behind a returning pitching staff loaded with veteran talent however, just knowing he's sitting over there in that BP waiting his chance is enough for me right now Wink

How are all our other young men out there fairing this year? Would love to hear about it. Is anyone else itching to get out an watch a ball game?

Hello Luv,

We are also very excited about the upcoming season. An arm injury limited soph son's innings last year, didn't get his first start until late in the season. Coach has told him that he will be a conference pitcher this year, which means he is somewhere from 1 to 4 in the rotation. His father and I are heading down to Florida the first week of March to watch their first week of games. Their team graduated 13 seniors last year, so there will be a lot of new faces in roster spots. Can't wait for the season to begin!
