Meat got the start and the win, went 4 innings gave up 1 run on a bases loaded balk but then got out of the inning, gave up 4 hits, had 6 strike-outs and walked 3. It was nice to see the boys bounce back after having a flat game against Plano East. After Cole came out in the first I think they lost some focus, that and the Boswick kid looked good.

I would like to thank all of Danny's coaches from T-Ball until now for getting him ready to play Varsity Baseball. Thank you Joe Nolan, Carl Rehling, Joe Flanagan, Tom Rutledge, Derek Higginbotham, Jeff Curry, Bruce Herman, Barry Durham & Mickey Lane, Logan Stout and pitching coaches Linty Ingram and Jack Giese.

Well let's tap those brakes on putting Coppell in the finals. Maybe I mispoke in a previous post

On a side note of bragging - My little freshman pitched a shutout CG (with a lot of help from the field!) to beat Denison 13-0! Also of note - one of our seniors hit a grand slam in the seventh inning - way to go Stardy!

Quit bragging on your" LITTLE" Freshman.. J/K. Saw him the other night @ a softball game.. What's he wearing a size 14 now?..Congrats to ZL...

We lost to Flower Mound 11-0.. They have some pretty mean sticks in their order.. Pitcher had a nice game gave up only 2 hits to us..DA and Burnside.. We have Rowlett @ noon today..

JL, Good luck today..

Hope everyone had a good second week of the season.
