Good luck to Pine Tree. Ya'll are having a great season.

There was a player (very large one at that) from Pine Tree that played last fall with DBAT. How has his season gone so far? I think he played first base and pitched mostly in the fall.

That would be Jeff Thompson. He is having a great year - he is undefeated so far this season at 9 - 0. Jeff is coming off of TJ surgury from the Summer of 2005. He has signed with Navarro JC for next year. He is a great kid. Brian has been playing with him since they were 8 years old.

Kilgore got a real good pitching performance from their pitcher - LH Todd Nault. He kept us off balance all night with a good curveball and an effective change up. The run he gave up was unearned.

Little Crawdad came within a ground ball that found the hole between 2nd and 1B to getting a no hitter.

Next up: Jacksonville tomorrow night at Pine Tree @ 7pm.

9-2 in District still doesn't lock in 2nd place. Not that second place is any prize. Keller awaits..who maybe it is Soutlake or Colleyville Heritage.

Hey, Hawkman who gets to take the bump for the Herbon crew tomorrow?
McKinney North 3
Lake Dallas 0

11 innings!

Score was 0-0 through 10. North scored first on a HR by Nico Taylor, then added 2 more to widen the gap.

WP-Trent Appleby. Came on in relief and got the win.

Lake Dallas battled all night. Michael Murray pitched a great game for LD. Went 9 innings of shutout ball, allowing 3 hits. Kid's only a sophomore!

North is now 9-3 in district and still tied for 1st with McKinney and Frisco, who both won tonight.

This win clinched a playoff spot for the Bulldogs.

LT remains unbeaten in district play. Tough loss for our guys at home. Drip had a 5-1 lead going into the top of the 6th when LT scored 4 to tie the game. We were unable to put them away in our at bat and they scored four more in the top of the 7th. That was all she wrote.

Keep your heads up guys. You're still in this thing and we're right there with ya!!
