Five of the six baseball games in the Athens (GA) Regional will be televised by Comcast Sports Southeast/Charter Sports Southeast (CSS), local cable channel 27, including Middle Tennessee's opening game against host Georgia.
Both of Friday's contest, as well as the 2 and 6 p.m. CT games on Saturday will be shown, as will Sunday's championship outing.
"We are excited to extend our collegiate baseball brodacast season with live coverage of the NCAA Regional match-ups in Athens," said Mike Sheehey, Comcast Vice President. "All four of the participating schools fall within our footprint, so we have a wonderful opportunity to bring unique local programming to our viewers throughout the region."
