Big year for the Klein Bearcats, they made the semi's in football, now in baseball.

Pitcher Michael West was the QB as a senior, throwing for 215 yards against Abilene in that game. Pitcher Clayton Crum was the starting QB as a junior, before tearing is UCL last summer. Both won games against Klein Collins last weekend.

Friday should be a great time to be in the Dell Diamond.

Klein is VERY good. Plano West will be fortunate if they win. It has been a great season with all of the turmoil that PW has endured, that cost them a number of games they probably would not have lost. But their great talent and experience got them back to State (2 out of 3 years). Tough to top for any program.

Klein took advantage of Plano West error to score winning run with two out in the bottom of seventh to advance.. Klein lefty Hank Morgan punched a 2-2 pitch to leftfield off Andrew Blum...

Plano West scored 3 runs in the sixth with the help of Klein walking the bases loaded. West could have had another run but a baserunner ran into coach Kendall Clark rounding third and was thrown out going back to third

Shouldn't have matter if he was thrown out.Base coach touches runner or visa versa he is out.

Slight correction - the coach must assist the runner in some way physically. The mere act of contact does nothing.
