60 Minutes did an extremely complimentary story on Albert Pojols that aired tonight. It was almost over the top in its praise for him.

Not just the baseball numbers (although they did a good job of putting his first 10 MLB years in perspective.) But all the charity work he does, his faith, his clean lifestyle, etc.

Pretty cool.

I had the great pleasure of meeting him in the St. Louis clubhouse in the Summer of 2005. After watching him interact with a group of nine year old kids for 30 minutes, I was blown away by his character. He is a polite, generous man. I've been singing his praises since that meeting and was happy to see the 60 minutes feature.
