Do you differentiate between playing and on roster?   You just mean they are still there not particularly playing

I meant they are rostered with the team. No idea if they are actually getting playing time.

I suspect you will see the % plummet if you use meaningful innings played.

And this is "as of Spring 2023." I fully expect the numbers to go down a year from now (in Spring 2024) when many hit the transfer portal over this summer.

I'm tracking 37 players that we knew in HS, class of '19, all levels from NAIA and D3 to P5.  21 are still on rosters (some not the same roster as they started), most got meaningful playing time last year.

You have 57% left in the game after 4 years. Not shocking.

You can see if they are playing by looking up the cumulative stats ( year) online.

Considering they are freshmen that would be a pretty safe bet
