During the fall the boys team has been working on the new rule for 2011 season. 90 sec to take your position between innings and 20 sec to deliver a pitch once he takes the mound. As a pitcher he hates it. Any thoughts on whether or not this new rule will stick.

I don't see it going away, with the NCAA trying to get the game time lowered. The wood bat like BBCOR may also take care of it.

90 secs for position players to get on the field is reasonable.

20 seconds for a pitcher to deliver a pitch once he takes the mound
is not reasonable (and is dependent on the definition of 'when he takes the mound)
