To my very good friend Tom Davis aka justbaseball's son Erik Davis who tied the knot today.
I have known Tom (forever it seems like) and we have shared a lot of good news and bad news together. I feel like his family is part of my family. Tom and jerseydad (Bob Miller) have always been there when I needed to let it out. I consider them true baseball dads. They understand the rules and let their kids figure it out for themselves. You guys could learn a lot from their experiences! Listen carefully when they post.
If anyone doesn't know anything about Erik, he is a pitcher for the Washington Nationals and his journey has been an incredible one. I will never ever forget the day I got word Erik was severely injured in a comeback that hit him in the face while pitching on the cape.
I am so very happy forfor him and his wife to begin this next chapter in his life.
