Yesterday in Santa Rosa, California, I was invited to watch a high school game. Maria Carrillo vs Vintage {Napa].
Over 25 scouts attended this game, including many of my scout friends from coaching with our Goodwill Series International teams and the Area Code games. This group included 2 Scouting Directors and 4 National "cross checkers". This was an enjoyable day.
All watching one player, who pitched a "no hitter" and hit a HR. He is also a QB on the football team.
The scouts were focus on the player's 6th tool. All players today have an opportunity to be discovered. "some one is always watching and observing.
