Looking out my office window this morning, there's a degree of skepticism that my son will actually get to take the bump exactly a month from today in his teams season opener.

Yesterday, a senior (Pete) came into my class with a couple of underclassmen in tow. He starts off, "Coach we were wondering next week are we" and he stopped right in his tracks after taking a look at me. He puts his arms around those two underclassmen, turns them toward the door and says as they left my class, "Boys, we're going out." Pete makes me laugh!!!
