A new baseball phrase?

My sons team was playing OK State on Sunday and had them on the ropes 5-2 in the 7th when OSU had guys on 1st and 2nd, two outs, and they get a single to CF. The ball comes back to the infield and lets just say the batter was thrown out at the plate after 2 runs had scored. My son who did not make the trip but was listening to the game on the radio said.
