It's like comparing a Lexus/Escalade (Puma Nats/BF) with a basic GM Neon/Saturn (at Shipley).
(Sorry Sue with regards to my bedside manner) yet such naivity is lol, since each are not in the same category.
Consider the Puma National/Baseball Factory as providing 'the Big League type' local, state, eastern, and national exposure for the amateur HS baseball player of all levels and budgets. More than plenty of Top, Middle and Low DI, D2, DIII and JUCO's College Recruiters & several associate pro scouts will obtain information from the BF event. And Pumas follow-ups are the norm rather than the exceptions for all levels of talent. 92% of the underclassman return. (However, the top five 17 y/o HS arms (90+ mph) and top of the top prospects (from the MD-VA-DC Metro) will NOT be in attendance....that would be two power lefties and two power RHP and for those interested two are from VA and three from MD!)
Consider the event at Shipley in early August as sustaining a 14-15-16-17 y/o dream (and probably similar to the Dad and Son event the following weekend) as 'indepedent type and very local College Park type, with Balt and Fairfax based private HS school exposure'.
For a few dollars, the participant get his footspeed timed, catches a few ground balls, tosses the ball around a little (maybe 5-10 pitches on a bump ducked away in a bull pen), hacks away at a few in a bips against a double nickel ****** high one of three hittable pitches (Tommy Vaith with not be in attendence), at the smallest of ACC parks, while getting the opportunity to experience the 'coolness' of a 120 degree artificial turf with the expected 90+ degree August mid-day summer heat, in order to travel to the Student Union for biological needs. With out published metrics, 95% of the underclassman do not return. Expect one top D1 school College Recruiter on site (or at least near the field, maybe not on it, but near it).
You might re-consider, spending your hard earned dollars wisely, especially if seeking 12 x 7, 12 months a year services in a Baseball Facility in Glen Burnie, or several other places around the area. 99.99% of the attendees return.
cheers
