Carpenter's Mustangs were at a Premier Baseball tourney in Mobile, Alabama this weekend.
Yes, they are the host team for the South Plains Regional next week. I know their 1st game is Wednesday, 10:00 A.M., at TCU. Don't know the opponent yet nor have I seen the complete brackets/schedule.

How is it possible to know on Sunday that the Mustangs play at 10:00 am @ TCU.
Shouldn't a draw happen first.
I actually know the answer the my question but think it's funny how the Mustangs always seem to play at the better fields and "ideal" times.

Hey Ken - just reporting what my son, a player, told me. Nothing more. I'm just an ignorant dad sitting in the stands waiting to see what vacation time I need to request for next week so I can watch the tourney.

You know I can't just sit back and not stir the pot.
I would assume that Sam made up the bracket in which he plugged certain state champs from the different tournaments prior to tournament completion. Thus, each team could see where their tournament winner was and what time and where for first game.
Again, just always seems like when it 100 degrees outside, they play at 10:00am. Or when Reverchon is one of the fields, they get TCU. Didn't help em last year though.
I can appreciate the pot stirring. It makes for entertaining reading if nothing else.
Regarding last summer, yea, you guys beat us with a DBAT team that was the best team we saw all season (IMO)and that includes the East Cobb Yankees who eventually won the whole thing. That DBAT squad was really special and I'm sure it was an honor to lead that squad. You guys were loaded.
Oh wait though, Lake Highlands ended up winning the regional and going to Farmington, right
