So does that leave the Mustangs playing DBAT 18 tonight? If so, who will pitch for both teams, and what are predictions for the outcome?
Mustangs vs. DBAT 18 at 5:30 at TCU. Zach Neal for the Mustangs vs. Brandon Workman for DBAT 18. Should be a good game.
That sounds like a great pitching duel. Hope I can make it out to see some of that game.
DBAT 18 by one run in nine.quote:So does that leave the Mustangs playing DBAT 18 tonight? If so, who will pitch for both teams, and what are predictions for the outcome?

Question,
Were teams able to add to their roster for this tourney?
I would think it will probably come down to pitching and I really don't know who is the deepest.
I'm sure most teams have three are four studs, but after that what is available. If I read it right, it probably takes six wins to take first.
Also, do they winners only head to Farmington, or the top two?
I would not count any team out until they have two losses!

Low scoring game. Could the Mustang bats just not get to Workman?
Brandon Workman allowed just two hits to the Mustangs and one of those was a bunt. Great job by the young man.
Still a lot of tourney to be played.......

Hey GM,
Do you have any answers to my previous two questions?
Thanks

Only one team advances to Farmington and teams can add players to their roster for AABC postseason. Max number of players for CM is 20 so if you had 17 you could potentially add three. We had nineteen and added one after winning State.
To win this tourney would take a minimum of six wins without having a bye or five wins if you got a bye.
On a down note, DBAT 17 was ousted today by a salty Albuquerque Pirates team 4-2. Pirates were in our pool in the WS Qualifier in Phoenix and lost three pool games by a total of three runs.
DBAT 18 (2-0) vs. Bill Hood (2-0) tomorrow at 12:30 @ TCU.

Good job boys.
Wondering if those plane tickets that were punched are refundable?
Of coarse, there's always the Premeir World Series.

Regarding the Mustangs vs. DBAT 18's, the best team won today. Workman pitched a very good game as did Zach Neal. The difference in the game, in my opinion, was the speed the DBAT team has in the outfield and on the base paths. DBAT created scoring opportunities "into the wind" and the Mustangs just kept banging fly balls into it. Congrats DBAT 18's. Let's not forget that these guys are the defending champions and they played like it today.
Uncle Ethan -- you're a class act.
Sounds like a great game. Thomas and Workman in games 1 and 2 for DBAT -- tough guys to beat. The tournament is STACKED. Collier was unable to win (Raiders), as was Thompson (DBAT Lowry) and Neal -- 3 future D1 arms. If the Tigers hadn't won in Phoenix, there might be blood-shed. (literally speaking, of course)
Good luck to the Dallas teams. Knocking off Bill Hood will a task!
DBAT 17 had a tough day....which will end seasons in the AABC format. A successful summer though, with tournament wins in Lewisville and Ft Worth (AABC state), fine showings in AZ (5th of 25) and East Cobb (5th of 148), and a few nice games against the men in blue.
Early D1 commits for Loy(UT), McKinney(Ark), Thompson(TCU), and Nowell(OU) and 6-7 more D1 prospects.
Okok, enough.

Did DBat GM call you and tell you to write that. I swear that looks exactly like his hand writing.
