It was fun to watch him play baseball and football

From the DMN today:

Aaron Luna, 3B, Rice

The freshman was named the national hitter of the week after hitting home runs in his first three college at-bats. Luna homered in his only two at-bats in Rice's opener against Central Missouri State, then homered in his first at-bat against McNeese State. He homered again in Rice's third game, a win over Texas Tech. Going into Saturday, Luna was hitting .262 with four homers and 11 RBIs for Rice (12-2), ranked No. 2 nationally by Collegiate Baseball. Luna was SportsDay's baseball player of the year in 2004, and he helped Carroll win two state football titles as a running back.
