L1 (18 and under) and L2 (16 and under)level teams will be playing at Hillsborough, Blake, Middleton, Florida College and USF from the 27th to the 30th.

The L-1 Division was won by Team Hitmaster in a great pitchers duel against Chet Lemon's Juice, 1 - 0.
The lone run was a home run by Justin Bowman (Hillsborough HS).
Chris Jones (Tampa Gaither HS) threw a four hit shutout.
The L - 2 Division was won by the Tampa Bay Raiders 9 - 4 against the West Florida Young Guns.
Some good local baseball.

Although you are correct that Jones pitched an outstanding game and Bowman hit the game winning home run, that was not the championship game.
The championship game was against the Georgia Stars and won by Hitmaster Bombers 4 -2. Than game as well featured some outstanding piching by both team. The winning pitcher for Hitmaster was Schurig, from Hillsborugh High.

Yes Matt and Hitmaster finished the tournament with that game, but I imagined that the winner of the Juice game would go on to win.
