Can jucos offer official visits? When they tell you they would like you to visit what does this mean?

The word "official" in the term "official visit" as it relates to NCAA D1 programs means that the school covers the expenses of the player (and only the player) to come and visit the school. I do not know if a JUCO will cover a player's expenses to visit. If a JUCO coach has asked a player to come visit, it is a fairly strong indication of interest on the school's part. If it is a JUCO D1 (as opposed to a JUCO D3), it probably means the player will be a candidate for an athletic scholarship at that school. It is probably worth your while to spend the money to visit the JUCO that extended the invitation to visit. Hope this helps.
My experience is the JUCO will pay for meals, we did not get transportation expenses and lodging was not required.
