when your pitching, ur about to realease the ball and your about to land on the front foot, u should twist ur back anle like if you were hitting (like squishing a bug, i waswonderin if that would give u more velocity since when ur hitting u rotate ur hips by squishing he bug, or twisting ur ankle, i was wonderin if it would work.

First, pitchers release the ball AFTER their glove-side foot lands.

Second, it is a good idea to rotate your pitching arm side foot so that you end up on your toe. This will help your hips to rotate. However, you don't have to do it as much as just let it happen.
