We are starting to get mailings from the various "academic honors" companies such as "National Honor Roll" and "Who's Who." My contention is that these are simply money making for the the companies and brag books for grandparents, however, I am beginning to wonder if these "honors" would be good to include in my sons recruiting portfolio? Any ideas or experience with this? Thanks.

I would leave that info out of the recruiting portfolio---it really means nothing to a baseball coach or admissions officer---what counts is the GPA/SAT and baseball talent !!!

Too much in a resume also can be harmful--you want to be short and to the point--one page if you can--people don't like to turn pages looking fort info--they want it all in front of them
