Out of curiosity I clicked on a link "D3 Scholarships on the D3 website. The subtitle stated, "How to get an athletic scholarship." Every knowledgeable person on hsbaseballwb knows D3s don't give athletic scholarships.

The first thing you see on the site are two references that refer to Michigan and Memphis, hardly D3 programs. Before you can find out how the organization operates you have to submit a lot of information about your son. Buyer beware of these kinds of sites.

RJM,

I did the exact same thing. I was really surprised that the gentleman that runs the D3 site let that slip past.

Otherwise the D# sites are great. There is not the recruiting and HS information you find here. But the D3 boards have a lot of information about many of the D3 programs. A recruit can learn a lot about some of the programs by ready through the old threads.

I figure a lot of ads are now on websites based on previous searches. Whenever I buy stuff online I see ads for the product for days. But the net of it is a person sees these ads on the site and sometimes thinks the site endorses the company. And there are sites who will take money from anyone. Buyer beware.
