I agree with redbird5. I used GameChanger for the HS season. A few quirks, but really easy once you get the hang of it. And if you use an iPhone, or an iTouch with a wi-fi connection, fans/parents can follow along on the web (small annual fee) anytime they cannot be at the game.

Second alternative is iScore, but I have never used it.

My son who keeps stats for the V hs team, also uses pointstreak k-force ap
which you can use on an iphone or droid

I use ESPN iScore. It is a $10 app (or was) for iphone or ipad. You can keep stats and if parents are away they can connect and watch live game cast for free.
