I agree with justbaseball. So why are you transferring and what are your objectives in doing so? That might be very helpful to know. Don't worry that your answer isn't the "right" one. It just needs to be truthful and honest (and short winded.) It can even be funny. Funny isn't always a bad thing, but flippant is.

(I'm a writer and my best friend is a former director of admissions, so I might be able to help you think it through to your most articulate and succinct answer.)
thanks, i wont try the humor cause im not the best at wording things in papers so itd most likely come off terrible.

i told them how im interested in the school because its a great instituion, its got what i want etc. but than reason i chose the school i wrote a full page on how i got to this point with college and turns, unexpected things happening with baseball injuries and such.

... and politically correct.

and make it personal.......make sure it includes your personal desires, needs and hopes for a fulfilled college life experience...add in any present or past student experiences/connections (family or friends) that you are aware of...

Read the college website for clues and buzz words to include into the essay.....
A couple of tangible ideas are

address any adversity you have fought through to get where you are

talk about your athletic ability if you are going to play baseball at the school and how you hope to contribute to the school

if you are playing baseball at the school talk about how you will benefit from the academic services the school can provide you

talk about any improvements you have made academically

talk about your goals

talk about how the school you are applying to can help you achieve your goals
