I'm sure there are alot of you that have experience with advisors. What is the "good" and "bad"? What should a player/parents look for? Is it a good idea to even have an advisor? What is the benefit?

I think what you will find is a plethora of opinions, most of which seem to lean in the same direction that the posters' family took regarding their own sons.
