Fun and interesting story around a friend and colleague of mine about the World Cup ball. He has been on TV a lot lately...CNN, BBC, Bloomberg, and many others.   BTW, he has published extensively on the aerodynamics of all kinds of balls including baseballs.  He's even talked to our younger son about things he can do with a baseball.

Fun stuff!

Braintrust,

If you're capable, power through this stuff first: http://www.techbriefs.com/.

Then, if you're really ready to do a complete technical audit (vice a half assed drive-by shooting from the cheap seats) sign an NDA to have a look at the good stuff.   After which, let's see what you know about appropriations oversight.
