Good news.... my son's team made the championship game which I believe will be televised on MLB network...
The not so good... early this week my son fielded a ball that took a bad hop on him and caused a laceration. He was able to regroup and throw a bloody baseball to first for the out but had to be pulled immediately from the game. Not only did he suffer the laceration but his finger was also fractured which ended his season. He's taking it in stride and enjoying his time in Arizona however. We'll see him next Sunday!
Another hsbbwebster's name I saw out there was baseballmom's son Preston Claiborne of the Yankees. Congrats Preston and Paula!
