Afternoon chat?

OPP - I just got home and tried to pop in to see if y'all were still there. Can't get into the room. Have we done something different or have I been banned?!?!

I'll try again around 8:00 tonight if anyone wants to join in a Weds night chat. That's if I can gain entry!

You definitely have not been banned!

The company that supports our forums and chat software (and hosts our site) has made some changes to the software, and the chat room looks different on my computer, but I was able to get in. If you experience more problems, please describe to me what happened/what you observed, and I will put in a support request.

Julie, I just tried again and got the same message. The grey screen comes on like normal, but then a message that says "an error has occured with the server. Please reload the applet and try again."

Please forgive my ignorance, but I don't have a clue as to what to do!

Julie, Nevermind! ClevelandDad told me to download an updated version of Java, so did that and I'm in! The place has been redecorated!!!

I can't get in either. How do I download a new Java version?

You can download a free update to the Java software for your browser at:

I'm always careful about checking who owns the website before I download software. The site above, java.com, is owned by Sun Microsystems, the creators of Java.
