I make of it what I read in it. They did 9 months of studies (they found no clear evidence of unreasonable risk of injury or death with the use of non-wood bats in the game of baseball) their results matched the results of the rest of the studies that have been done over the past decades. Aluminum bats are no more dangerous than wood bats.

The simple fact of the matter is that players are bigger and stronger today and the ball is wound tighter---when you factor that in you can see why the ball come soff the bat faster

No I didn't see that yesterday. I guess from everything that's been in the press, and posts I've read about aluminum bats, I thought the trend was moving towards wood? Guess not.
