Are there ever anything like showcases or camps in Alaska? I am not too familar with the baseball stuff because I have been injured.

The closest you'll get are events in Washington. I can't imagine a showcase outfit going to all the expense to set up an event in Alaska. How deep are Mom/Dad's pockets?? You'll eventually want to travel south and hit one or two events on the west coast.
Yeah thats what I figured. There are some baseball camps and such. I don't think traveling is really an option but I am going south next year so maybe I might check something out. Is Nebraska a good choice? Like Lincoln area maybe? Thanks anyway, Krak.

Some may think this is a stretch but have you checked with any of the Alaska Baseball League teams (i.e. summer wood bat league) about hooking up with one of them? I know when our son played there in '02, there were a couple of teams that had high school age players on them (no NCAA eligibility requirements in the ABL). One of the players was from the San Diego area, so I am not dreaming, Folks.
Anyway, just an idea ... may be a shot there for some exposure (tho it would most likely be of the pro scout variety).
