All American Baseball Showcase Jan. 2012

Anyone ever attended this showcase? My son received three different "nominations" from this organization. The nominations came from two different college coaches and one "bird scout" . It is local for us (Phoenix) so traveling wouldn't be too bad. I'm very skeptical about this sort of invite. They guarantee at least 15 college coaches and list names on their site of who's attending the different events.Any info is greatly appreciated.
