If you are interested in watching many of the very best rising HS seniors in the country, the Perfect Game All American Classic from Petco Park in San Diego will be shown live on the MLB Network.  I believe the telecast will start around 5PM Pacific Coast Time, 8:00 on the East coast.

Last year this game had 16 players drafted in the first round. Former players from this game include, Justin Upton, Jason Heyward, Freddie Freeman, Buster Posey, Andrew McCutchen, Madison Bumgarner, Matt Harvey, Jose Fernandez, Rick Porcello, Bryce Harper, Homer Bailey, Austin Jackson, and about 80 others that have played in the Big Leagues.

The game has averaged almost 14 first round picks each year since it started in 2003. So if you want to see what the most talented HS players look like, here is the chance.

My son just got back from the East Coast Pro last week.  I got to see Brendan play in person for the first time.  If that kid is not a first round pick, I don't know what one looks like.  The kid is very good defensively, but the stick is what sets him apart.  He was only 1 for 4 against us, but EVERYTHING he hit was square and hard.  By the way, the one hit was a towering homerun.  In my opinion, he is the best in the 2015 class.  My son plays with Daz Cameron and Alonzo Jones, so I have got to watch some of the best.  I don't know anything else about the kid except what I saw in Syracuse.  Very impressive!!

I think maybe you are referring to the Under Armour All-Star game.  A lot of the same kids play in that event.

I think my 2015 was on your sons ECP team.  Braves?  You are right.  Brendan Rogers is great player.  He hit a towering HR against us.  He was at the Area Code games this week and his teammate won the HR Derby.  (off topic I know)  He's played with some really impressive talent over the last two weeks.

Yes my son played for the Braves.  He was one of 7 off our summer team to be invited to play in Syracuse.  5 played for the Braves.

We had four invited.  Mine was on the Braves.  One on the Indians, Mets and Cubs.
