Don't they pick from who ever has the best batting average? and lowest ERA with a certain amount of innings pitched?
Bobby, all head coaches have a meeting they bring there stats for the players that they think are deserving and than they talk, they deal and they negotiate and for the most part they get it right.
at the most its nothing but a popularity contest at the beach with a few exceptions
