Subject: Closing or Deleting Threads

Only close or delete a thread if it contains inappropriate material or comments. Such as specific negative references to a person, foul language, etc.

Please do not close, delete or edit a thread simply because you are tired of the topic or do not agree with the form or comments in that thread.

Should you have questions about whether a topic needs moderator attention contact either myself or Hiwassee Vol

IMO - It is a very valid reminder. When topics start getting closed or posts start getting deleted because moderators are getting "tired" of the subject - common sense would lead you to believe that alot of folks - (including myself) just wont post anymore.

As a moderator - your suggestion to contact either you or Hiwassee when you have a concern is a good one IMO.

Good point itsinthegame. But there is another side that needs to be considered.

If there is a good discussion going on and an individual known for hijacking every discussion they join begins to take that discussion down the wrong road wouldn't common sense also lead you to believe that a lot of folks - (including myself) just won't post anymore?

Enough is enough. The guy needs to get back on his medication. He's not even trjo anymore. He made a ridiculous claim that someone on this site cares so much about him that they sent him a virus (I didn't close that thread). The guy even challenged me "mano a mano" in a PM. Not only is this person a paranoid schizophrenic but he's also a "tough guy".

It's not about disagreements. I'm sure you're smart enough to figure that out. If the guy would stick to a topic nobody would have a problem with him. I acted in, what I felt was the best interest of this community. Obviously you don't feel the same way. I guess it was a bad assumption on my part and for that I apologize.
