Congrats to all the players selected and to the pilot's avoidance of the selection of players by position (at least on the first team). The district, regional and tidewater teams should simply identify the best twelve players regardless of position. Picking the teams by position does not identify the best players.

Second, the district and regional teams need to eliminate duplicating players on the first and second team when they select a player to the first team and the same player to the second team. Lets just identify the best twelve regardless of positions, the next twelve best players for the second team. That method would increase the number of players honored.

Third, let's consider some players other than juniors and seniors. This honor should not be senority based or a lifetime achievement award.
