Hey everyone-

We (Play Ball USA) are again the title sponsor for the ALS Lou Gehrig's disease charity game on Saturday May 9th.

As of right now 8-11 members of the Play Ball USA Staff will team up with 10 or so members of the Men's Senior Baseball League to play a game at Alexian Field vs. the Schaumburg Flyers.

I played on the other side of this game, as a Flyer, for two seasons (2005 & 2006) and saw first hand what an impact it had and the amount of money that can be raised for a good cause.

Every dollar helps, and there is no amount that is considered too small.

It is extremely easy to donate, all you have to do is click on this link:

My goal is $10,000 . . . and we have to do it inn one month!

Please forward this to anyone else who might be interested in helping this great cause.

If you would rather not donate online then please send a check to: Play Ball USA - 208 Graceland Ave - Des Plaines, IL 60016

Thank you all so much for your support!

Hey everyone . . . I just wanted to get this post back to the top. If you are not in a position to support the game financially, please do so by showing up for the game. There is no cost to attend and it should be an enjoyable night at the ball park.

I will most likely embarass myself, so if nothing else come for a good laugh!

Thank you to all of you who have supported the game already.

Did anyone see the ESPN piece on former Ravens player O.J. Brigance? He is currently battling ALS and they showed first hand how debilitating the disease is. It honestly got me choked up this morning.

Let me know if any of you have questions about the event.
