It all depends what your sons goals are in baseball. My son has played two years of American Legion and this will be his third and it has been enjoyable. As told to us by Virginia Tech Baseball Coach Pete Hughes last year at a VT showcase "AL Baseball is a dinosaur". He said he scouts five showcase teams and the various college show cases. You don't see the scouts at the AL games like we did when we first started unless there is an remarkable player like Damien Carroll playing.
