The Anglers are looking for 2009 & 2010 grads that are capable of playing at the next level. The Anglers's welcomes new talent so please understand that only talent at the highest level will be considered as a potential prospect and not all submissions will receive a response.
The Anglers season runs from June 6th - Oct 31st.
Scheduled to play in major showcase tournaments in VA, SC and NC. Will be attending 2009 Grads-17u WWBA Nat'l Championship in Marietta, GA on July 8-14.

In 1986 (21 years ago) FREDDY SUGGS formed the first fall showcase team in the Carolinas. FREDDY named the team the ANGLERS. FREDDY SUGGS is one of the pioneers in NC for establishing teams for HS players and getting them noticed by scouts. FREDDY SUGGS started his program before the modern "showcase" concept evolved. He is truely one of the legends and have helped more kids get scholarships than anyone else combined in North Carolina. FREDDY has had hundreds of his players go on and play at the next level of baseball whether it being college, pro or both. After taking a couple of years off from the ANGLER'S, FREDDY is bringing the ANGLER'S BACK!!!
