Any Belmont fans?….

Welcome to the hsbbweb I know where you are coming from with your sentiments. We are going down to see my son for the first time this weekend.

To your basic question, there is one kid on Belmont - Carlo Testa, who is from our area and my son has played against in the past. We don't know him personally however. Carlo was a teammate of another excellent player named Cory Hindel who is now at Wake Forest. Have fun during your trip and congrats to your son

Thanks CD for the kind welcome… Funny you should mention Carlo – he and my son are room mates… From what I hear he is a very talented player… My son tells me he will be a dominant pitcher very shortly… Belmont has done well with these two… both have been big contributors so far…(sorry… some proud dad bragging content)
My wife and I really struggled with our son going so far away to play… He is our oldest and as much as we might brag about getting them out of the nest… There is an empty bedroom as a reminder that your little leaguer has grown up…

Great fun

Carlo pitched against us this summer and you can tell he will be very good in the near future. We threw a lefty also who threw a no-no and Carlo threw a 2 hitter and we beat them in extras. Seemed like a good kid when we spoke to him after the game.
