I'll be there, section 325, row 10, seat 15, with a Purple hat (and Justmom thinks about now "What else WOULD he wear?"), with a "S" on it.

If anybody is going and can get through the anticipated throng of people, give a shout. Batting practice starts at 3:30, President Bush tossing out the first ball.

It'll be cool outside the stadium, but with all the politicians and bigwigs at this event, and resultant hot air, stadium temperature will be plenty warm.

I have not yet been asked to pitch tonight, but am waiting for the phone to ring.....

Great game, huge vocal crowd, didn't see a single Diamondback shirt the whole night. The players were visibly reacting to the crowd support-it likely has been a long time since they experienced that much noise at home.

"W" is a man's man; he strolled out into the wide open in front of 46,000 people like nobody's business, and threw a nice pitch, looking like a guy that knows a two seamer from a four seamer. I may not agree with every decision he's ever made, and please don't anyone turn this into a political thread, but he's got guts.

I wonder how Peter Angelouse slept last night????
