My son took a couple of calls from them a few years ago when he was still in high school. I didn't speak with them myself but he's pretty adept at handling these things and I think he felt the calls were legit. He told them he had already committed to a different organization, so that was really the end of it. Sorry I couldn't be more help. If my memory is good, this goes back to sometime around 2014.
You must be in Texas. I just met Trev 2 weeks ago at my 2019's playoff game. He wanted my son to come out to their practice in S.A. last Sunday. My 2022 was playing in a PG state tourney at the same time. I help coach, so we didn't have time to go. We are already committed for the summer, so I didn't put much thought into it. After looking at their website, they're going to all the right showcases and tourney's so I would think they would be worth looking into. Goodluck!
I'm in Ohio so I have no direct knowledge of them....but it looks to be a pretty legitimate organization. My son had been contacted by other teams like this over the years that were nothing more than huge $$$$ grabs....but at $1200, that doesn't seem to be the case here, in fact, that's more than reasonable compared to what we've paid over the years and I always thought our teams were great deals. Travel could add up depending on where you live, but that happens to everyone. As Texas2Son said, they are going to the right events. Hopefully someone here with knowledge of the program will chime in.
Son is committed to an excellent team already. He was invited to their showcase which was $150 but it is about 4 hours away, so we decided to skip the showcase. We would have gone if it was local. Thank you for the comments.
