Anybody know anything about Trevino ball gloves? I'm in the market for a couple of new gloves and I just recently came across Trevino, and interestingly, they apparantly make a brand of glove that I have been looking at called Valle.

I saw that they are one of a few gloves still made in the US, Texas, that is, and appear to be very well made. They have a Kip line of gloves that I think I would get , if in fact I decided to buy from them.

Anyway, anyone know anything abou these gloves?, or better yet, have actual experience?

I had a custom made Trevino glove. I wish I had ten more. It was by far the best quality glove I have ever had. I used it while playing professionally. It was designed for me personally by one of the owners. I think they still carry a model similar to it. I think you could choose any of the Trevino's and would be very pleased.

I am going to buy another one this week. If I can I am going to by two different models.
Homerun04,
I googled Trevino and got their "website" that had absolutely no information except "contact us". This thread also came up. Which is why I joined to see if there was anyone trying to find this glove or even knows anything about. One of my son's friends has a fielders glove that he liked and he wanted to get a catcher's mitt.
kwm,

Sorry, when I googled them, their site came up, as well as, a few others who seem to be marketing them, so you could have had your answer.

I have since gone back and googled them and saw the link to HSBBW several links down (not this thread), did you notice the comment that the gloves are very very heavy (even stated on their site), you may want to reconsider these gloves esp. as a catcher and the fact that you don't have any background on the company even from their own web site just in case you have any problems.

Good Luck!

I purchased a model # Ytm 11 1/2" pitcher/ shortstop glove 3 years ago and I actully purchased it for myself because it felt so good on my hand and was so well made. Well needless to say my son got a hold of it and has had it ever since. He plays select ball and has played on as many as 4 teams at a time so he has put it through the wringer. I can say this, it is possibly the best glove I have ever owned and I normally only buy top of the line pro preffered gloves, wilson A-2000 gloves or some pro line glove, never nothing cheap and this glove far outweighs any of them....It is by far the best made glove i have ever seen and it is not too heavy as a earlier reply said.
Well the way I even found this website was by doing a search on google and this actual thread came up so no one chance in a millon, that I came here. I personally loved the glove. Bought it for myself and then boom my son confiscated it. I am planning on buying 3 more now that I have found an outlet to get them from. A custom made catcher's mitt, infielder's glove and an outfielder's glove for my son so I can get mine back. So sorry I am not a lurker but a newby who happens to love a glove and wants more of them...
Well the one I bought I love, my kid loves and all the players on his team want one, so maybe i am fortunate to have a non-heavy one. The only one of his gloves that I have seen that I personally thought were overdone too much....Was his buffalo catcher's mitts and I think those were actually too stiff and it would take some major work to get one of them broke in. But I personally haven't seen any of his fielding gloves and reg. bull hide gloves that are too heavy and to all of us who play year round and high school too, they love them and get great service out of them too. Just remember another thing you have to remember, what works for one may not work for another. I make like Chevy's and you may like Fords and we may both think we have viable reasons why the other ones stink so just because we have diffent preferences doesn't make either of us wrong, it just makes us different. I love mine and would recommend as highly as I possibly could to anyone and when people feel it and put it on, it sells itself and then they all want one.I would just stick with the what you like be it Rawlings,Allstar or Wilson or whatever if that is what you like. I own two of those brands myself. But myself I love this one and I will definitely buy more.
I just bought a Trevino catchers mitt...gold series, buffalo. My daughter is a pitcher, so I get plenty of bucket time with her. I have been through mizuno, rawlings, and worth. This Trevino mitt is by far the best glove yet. I will not buy another and should not have to. This glove is quality. Fits well and my hand is not swollen and aching after catching her. I love this glove and wish I had bought one several years ago. Very well made and I will now purchase her a fielding glove as well.
Yes first time post... sorry that offends mr yesreally. Just came across someone asking about Trevino gloves on google as I was looking for my daughter a fielding glove. As I said, I bought a catchers mitt for my self. Really well built glove and I wish to get her one now. Best mitt I have ever had. I let another dad catch his daughter with it and he bought one as well.
My middle son has been rehabbing from an arm injury last year and consequently all his friends and former team mates have passed him by and are no longer available to catch him up. He is a right handed pitcher.

When I saw the posts from softball21 I thought he was just a spammer, but the more I read the more intrigued I became. I decided to take the plunge and pick up a Trevino Catcher’s Mitt so I could catch up my son.

The glove is so comfortable and easy to use that I can receive a complete bull pen without icing my hands afterwards! Anyway, sorry if I came off abruptly earlier. It is great catching up my son again!
